Brocket is approximately 18 km east of Pincher Creek, AB.Intent of the processThe intent of this process is to staff one (1) position on an indeterminate basis in Piikani, Alberta, and create a pool of qualified candidates. The pool of qualified candidates may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures (i.E. indeterminate, term, deployment, acting, assignment, and secondment) within the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Information regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process. Should a Public Service (PS) employee be found qualified and selected for appointment, notification regarding the PS appointment, if applicable, will be posted on www.Jobs.Gc.Ca in accordance with the Public Service Employment Act.Conditions of employmentReliability Status security clearance - RCMP Enhanced Reliability Status (ERS) security clearance. Those selected must meet and maintain the above condition of employment throughout their employment. NOTE: Successful candidates will require a valid RCMP security clearance prior to appointment and throughout the tenure of their employment.



The process to obtain RCMP security clearance involves a security/reliability interview and a field investigation regarding matters of criminal activity which includes reference checks, verification of credit/financial status, education, employment, etc. As such, the process may take several weeks or months to complete.Willing and able to work in a busy police environment, including exposure to unsettling and/or graphic material.Willingness and ability to travel for work and/or training purposes using various modes of transportation (including owned or leased government transport, commercial and light aircraft).Willingness and ability to work overtime, as required.Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license.You need (essential for the job)Your application must clearly explain how you meet the followingA secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience. Proof of education will be required prior to appointment.Ex1 – Experience providing administrative support services. Administrative support services can include, but are not limited to: providing support relating to court liaising, purchasing and procuring of goods and services, handling incoming and outgoing mail, safekeeping of exhibits/evidence, etc.Ex2 – Experience working with internal and external clients and partners to provide information and direct inquiries.Ex3 – Experience in employee supervision such as assigning work, scheduling,
