The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of AI, full-stack engineering, and platform architecture.What You’ll DoLead the design and development of AI-enabled features across Genome’s full stackArchitect scalable,



modular systems that support high-volume usage and rapid iterationEvaluate emerging technologies to identify high-impact opportunitiesBuild rapid prototypes and convert them into reliable, production-ready capabilitiesCollaborate with product and business partners to translate complex requirements into clear execution plansQualificationsRequired:Experience designing and implementing high-scale or high-interaction systemsFull-stack development experience, including front-end, APIs, and distributed systemsStrong understanding of databases, services, and enterprise architecture patternsDirect experience integrating AI or LLM-based capabilities into real productsAbility to work with cross-functional teams and align solutions with business needsProficiency with Python and at least one additional language (e.G., TypeScript, Java, or C#)Desired:5+ years of development experience, including architecture or technical leadershipExperience using AI coding assistants to increase speed and maintain code qualityExperience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS or GCPBackground in AI-driven systems or generative AI applicationsExperience working in enterprise-scale or regulated environmentsAbility to adapt quickly, learn emerging technologies, and support team alignmentAdditional InformationThe base salary range for this position is CAD $120,000 - $150,000.
