financecanada.ca is Canada's independent financial editorial platform — covering mortgage rates, housing market news, and personal finance. We are launching this fall and are looking for a sharp, organized Virtual Assistant to support our growing operations as we scale.

This is a remote, versatile role with a Canadian startup at an exciting stage of growth.

What You Will Be Doing
Supporting day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
Managing calendars, scheduling, and correspondence
Researching mortgage professionals and financial industry contacts across Canada
Helping coordinate content publishing schedules and editorial calendars
Assisting with light social media scheduling and coordination
Organizing documents, spreadsheets, and project trackers
Supporting outreach and follow-up communications
General administrative support as the team grows

What We Are Looking For
Strong written and verbal communication in English
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail




Comfortable working independently and managing your own time
Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and basic spreadsheet tools
Interest in Canadian finance, real estate, or media is a robust asset
Previous virtual assistant or administrative experience preferred
Familiarity with tools like Notion, Slack, Trello, or similar platforms is a plus
