Summary

Reporting to the Back Room Department Manager, a Receiving Outfitter is responsible for backend operations including receiving, warehousing, inventory control, replenishment, stocking, and maintenance/housekeeping.

Responsibilities
Systematically receive purchase orders that come into the building.
Perform physical count of all packages coming into the building and verify the count with the packing slip.
Conduct stocking activities from the back room to the sales floor.
Perform tasks including folding, repackaging, sorting, facing and re‑hanging of newly arriving Cabela’s Canada product.
Conduct general replenishment of all departments, including facing and hanging merchandise.
Check the floor for cleanliness, update pricing and signage, perform inventory checks, verify min/max settings, ensure shelves are full, and confirm security tags are in place.
Assist with merchandise purges when necessary.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.




Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work.
Customer‑service oriented team player.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and business contacts in a courteous, positive and qualified manner.
Physically capable of standing for extended periods and moving/handling boxes of merchandise.
Must wear steel‑toe work boots.
Must be able to obtain a PAL license.

Starting Pay Rate: $18.25 - $20.75
