About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Portfolio Accounting to take on a senior operational leadership role. The successful candidate will be responsible for the performance, scalability, and development of the Portfolio Accounting function, overseeing global teams and driving strategic initiatives to ensure operational excellence and service quality. This role requires a deep understanding of portfolio accounting processes, including trade lifecycle management, reconciliations, corporate actions, and financial instruments. The VP will also be a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders, managing relationships and escalations, and will be expected to use operational metrics to drive decision-making and performance improvements.





Applicants for the Vice President, Portfolio Accounting position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a CPA, CA, CFA, or similar designation considered an asset. A minimum of 10 years' experience in financial services, fund administration, asset management, or a related investment operations workplace is required, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. The role demands exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, as well as the ability to balance client, employee, and business priorities in a fast-paced environment. The VP will be instrumental in building a high-performing culture, coaching and mentoring team members, and supporting the development of scalable operating models and governance frameworks.
