This is a great role for students studying civil engineering, environmental engineering, geoscience, or related fields who want real-world field experience. **Candidates may be considered for either a full-time position or a casual contract role, depending on qualifications and business needs.What a day at EXP has in store for youConduct soil compaction testing using a soil density gaugePerform concrete field tests (slump, air content) and cast concrete test cylindersObserve asphalt placement and conduct sampling and compaction testingWhat your experience looks likeGraduated from Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering,



Earth Sciences or related program diplomaMinimum 2 years of experience in inspection and testing such as concrete and compacting testing, footing, subgrade, and/or rebar inspections, and engineered fillCCIL Certified in Field concrete testingAbility to problem-solve and think proactively on siteComfortable reading and interpreting drawings/specifications (training provided)Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with contractors and team membersSolid report writing and attention to detailValid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel to job sitesPhysically able to lift/carry equipment such as soil density gauges and concrete cylindersThis job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization.The hourly range for this role is between $23 to $28.
