We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced Part time Janitorial Supervisor to join our team. This is a hands-on supervisory position—the successful candidate will be responsible for both performing daily restaurant cleaning duties and overseeing the janitorial team.

Schedule
-part time potentially leading into full time
-must be available for early morning (5AM)
-some evening availability required for occasional coverage
-flexibility to provide coverage when needed

Responsibilities
-perform daily cleaning and sanitation duties within a restaurant environment
-work alongside janitorial staff as a hands-on member of the cleaning team
-oversee janitorial staff and ensure cleaning standards are consistently being met
-train and have ongoing support for new employees in a positive manner
-provide direction and feedback to staff as needed
-monitor the quality and completion of assigned cleaning duties
-help coordinate staff and ensure adequate coverage
-help maintain a reliable,



effective and positive cleaning team

Qualifications
-Previous supervisory or management experience is required and should be clearly detailed in your cover letter
-previous janitorial and/or commercial cleaning in a restaurant setting is an asset
-strong leadership and communication skills
-comfortable and responsible to work independently and as part of a team
-must be willing to perform regular physical cleaning duties which includes heavy lifting as well as repetitive movements
-Valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle for every shift is a must
-Basic computer skills would be an asset

PLEASE NOTE: this is a working supervisor position. The Janitorial Supervisor is responsible for completing regular cleaning duties in addition to supervising and supporting the janitorial team.
