Riverstone Retirement Communities is looking for a dedicated Activity Assistant to enhance the lives of seniors. This part-time role focuses on organizing and promoting activities that foster engagement and joy. You'll need a diploma in Recreation and Leisure Services or equivalent experience, alongside a passion for working with seniors and teamwork spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, and evaluate leisure activities
• Animate individual and group activities for residents
• Encourage senior participation in chosen activities
• Assist residents throughout the activity sessions
• Maintain attendance records for all activities
Requirements:
• Diploma in Recreation and Leisure Services or equivalent
• Experience working with seniors in a leisure capacity
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
