As the Senior Staff Accountant you will work with the managers and partners and be responsible for completing year-end files and tax returns, and delivering high quality services.
Your responsibilities:
- Actively participate in preparing financial statement, Review of Compilation Engagements, Review Engagement and Audit files in an efficient manner with minimal Partner involvement.
- Preparation and review of Corporate and Personal income tax returns.
- Ability to research accounting, auditing and income tax issues
- Excellent customer service skills as this position will require extensive client contact
COMPETENCIES AND CHARACTERISTICS
- CPA designation
- At least 2 year of work experience in public practice as a CPA
- Very proficient in Caseware, Caseview, Profile and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and research skills in accounting.
- Robust communication skills and time management skills.
- Effective communicator both written and verbal.
- Effective - ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure.
- Accountable – take responsibility of client deadlines and goals; and highly organized and Efficient.
- Highly organized and Efficient.
- Knowledge of US tax is an asset.
