Job Description - (Fall 26) Process Plant Maintenance Internship (MEL01560)
Reporting to the Process Plant Maintenance General Supervisor, the Process Plant Maintenance Intern is part of the Process Plant Maintenance Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Responsibilities
Participate in the Process Plant Maintenance program implementation.
Prepare workshops for several improvement initiatives like the oil shop 5 S project.
Communicate with the supplier to gather information on the equipment.
Participate in the development of maintenance procedures.
Perform follow-ups on equipment performances: lubricant consumption, liner wearing monitoring.
Participate in the development of the corrosion mitigation program.
Support critical asset identification including piping as per P&ID; review.
What You Need to Succeed
Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Positive skills with MS Office suite like Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
Positive analytical skills in troubleshooting.
Mining experience is an asset.
Experience working in a multicultural environment is an asset.
Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken.
Must have solid interpersonal, communication and team building skills.
Your Work Schedule
Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest; accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
