Empower youth facing eating disorders as a Social Program Officer with Safely Connected, The Eating Disorder Centre. This full time role centers on documentation and communication strategy development.
As a dedicated Social Program Officer, you will communicate with independent chapters to assist them in creating necessary documentation. Your role includes reviewing existing processes and implementing effective strategies that contribute to Safely Connected’s mission of supporting marginalized youth. You will leverage your organizational skills to enhance the overall effectiveness of chapters.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create documentation for chapter activities
• Assess processes for effectiveness and clarity
• Meet with chapters to address various needs
• Refine data collection and evaluation methods
• Collaborate on program initiatives with leadership
Requirements:
• Must be aged 15-30 at employment start
• Require Canadian citizenship or permanent residency
• Have valid Social Insurance Number
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Asset: familiarity with Canadian student organizations
