Position SummaryThe Senior Manager, Social Media is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the company's social media strategy and execution across various products and services. This senior role will oversee a team and collaborate with a Social Agency of Record (AOR) to develop creative, data‑driven campaigns that enhance brand relevance and engagement with Canadian audiences through local content storytelling. including media platform operations.Create and manage a social landscape report to identify opportunities for Samsung to engage in relevant and timely events in Canada.Ensure sentiment remains positive and community management is maintained to drive engagement and strengthen the brand on social media.Determine content and IMC‑related KPIs and independently craft requirements for data reporting.Lead a team to manage social media operations (reporting and posting) and community.Manage and allocate budgets effectively to maximize ROI on social media initiatives.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, partners, and influencers.Collaborate with partners to create insightful and actionable quarterly reviews, monthly scorecards, weekly performance, and relevant campaign reports.EducationBachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.ExperienceMinimum 10 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years with strategic & content experience.Ability to run the function as a business, delivering measurable results with brand growth and engagement.Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies for global brands.Experience in managing social media during high‑profile product launches or campaigns is a plus.Experience providing recommendations to different internal leads who own their respective campaigns.Experience having ownership of organic social content driving the planning across multiple LOBs with varying priorities.Paid media experience—understanding and executing paid social campaigns across major platforms (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snap) and emerging social media platforms is a plus.KnowledgeAnalytical,
detail‑oriented nature with experience reporting on insights and campaign results.Experience using Sprinklr, Adobe, or other related social media measurement platforms.Experience building or adapting content to best maximize the performance and engagement of content through brand‑owned social platforms.Experience managing complex and fast‑moving issues while working with limited supervision.Incredible attention to detail and ability to multi‑task.Very strong writing and communication skills.Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting.Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work cross‑divisionally and functionally, and balance the interests of multiple stakeholders.Passion for technology and consumer electronics.Salary and BenefitsThe salary range for this role is expected to be between $107,000 to $147,000 and reflects base salary only.
