NEOFACS seeks a dedicated Child and Youth Mental Health Clinician for an 18-month contract in Kirkland Lake. Deliver psychotherapy and counselling to support youth and their families.
In this position, you will be a vital part of a multidisciplinary team focused on addressing the behavioral, social, and emotional needs of children up to 18 years. The successful candidate will utilize cutting-edge strategies while fostering collaborative relationships with peers, ensuring effective therapeutic services tailored to client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide creative psychotherapy and counselling sessions
• Engage in thorough clinical assessments for children
• Collaborate consistently with a multidisciplinary team
• Address family dynamics and provide support recommendations
• Conduct targeted single session interventions
Requirements:
• Master's Degree in Social Work or related field preferred
• Registration with relevant Ontario colleges required
• Experience in children's mental health clinical practice
• Robust communication and organizational skills
• Valid G2 license with a willingness to obtain G Class
