This role reports to the Manager of Impact Assessment and requires administration of screening assessments for proposed developments. You’ll review technical documents, communicate with project proponents, and assist senior staff with major project assessments and community consultations. Your contributions will enhance environmental protection for Nunavut’s land and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct screening assessments of project proposals
• Prepare correspondence and produce objective summaries




• Track progress of files and deadlines efficiently
• Liaise with agencies to address information gaps
• Facilitate community engagements and public hearings
Requirements:
• Knowledge of environmental assessment procedures
• Solid communication skills in both written and verbal forms
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in an office setting for at least one year
• Completion of courses in Environmental Studies or Natural Sciences
