We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team at Red River Co-op Ontario Ltd.). As a Cashier, you will be responsible for accurately processing transactions and providing excellent customer service to our customers.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers as they approach the checkout counter and process their transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments using a point‑of‑sale system.
- Ensure that all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled at the end of each shift.
- Assist customers with questions or concerns, and direct them as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and assist with stocking products as necessary.

Requirements

- Experience in a retail or customer service workplace preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with computers.
