Overview

We’re seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer.

Responsibilities
Assist customers with questions and recommendations
Manage sales transactions while working the assigned cash register
Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
Keep the store well‑stocked and recover merchandise
Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful workplace while maintaining professional, friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery,



or drug store workplace is highly preferred
Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
Strong organizational and communication skills are required
Solid problem‑solving and decision‑making skills are required

Compensation

Starting pay: $17.60 per hour.

Location

Part time: C4-33 Mapleview Drive W, Barrie, Ontario L4N 9H5, Operations 40094, Dollar Tree.
