Oxford Learning Brantford North is seeking part‑time French/English teacher‑tutors for its learning centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach up to 3 students at a time at different levels, both online and in‑person.
- Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
- Fill in post‑lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates.
- Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times.
Position Requirements
- Commitment to after‑school and evening hours, Monday to Thursday 3:30 pm – 8:00 pm.
- Ability to commute to the Brantford, Ontario location.
- Vulnerable sector screening mandatory.
- Majority of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Fourth‑year university students with extensive tutoring experience considered.
- Teaching certification a plus.
- Good knowledge of Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum.
- Experience teaching/tutoring at K‑12 (or equivalent) level.
- Strong English written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and balance up to three students.
Schedule & Compensation
- Employment type: Part‑time.
- Hours: Evenings, Monday‑Thursday (3:30 pm – 8:00 pm).
- Pay: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour.
