Lifeguards at Canatara Beach are responsible for maintaining a safe environment by providing necessary supervision, protection, and rescue efforts for beachgoers in accordance with recognized lifeguarding procedures. Lifeguards also contribute to ensuring our beaches are clean and safe places for people to enjoy their summer days.Candidate Skills and AttributesOur lifeguards require attention to detail and poise in high-stress situations. Interacting closely with the public requires excellent customer service skills to handle difficult situations, and the ability to remain alert and calm at all times is essential. Beach lifeguards are required to be available to work a variety of scheduled shifts, including days and weekends.TermJune 27, 2026 – August 30, 2026Successful candidates will be expected to be available for the full duration of the employment term.Mandatory OrientationAll lifeguards must be available to attend mandatory orientation,
