Durham College is seeking an experienced educator to lead the GNED 1521 Eco Warrior course in a part time capacity. Ideal candidates have a Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related fields and experience in diverse learning environments. You will utilize cutting-edge teaching methods and educational technologies while promoting student engagement and success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create inclusive learning environments for diverse students
• Use pedagogical methods to engage students actively
• Implement educational technologies for hybrid and online courses




• Develop assessments and curriculum aligned with current standards
• Collaborate with program teams and stakeholders effectively
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related
• Minimum five years of relevant work experience
• Post-secondary teaching experience with Universal Design
• Knowledge of Indigenous environmental perspectives preferred
• Clean Vulnerable Sector Check required
