Job SummaryWe are seeking a friendly and effective Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items. The Barista will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring each guest has a positive experience.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages using espresso machines and other equipmentHandle cash register transactions accurately using POS systems such as Micros POSMaintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with food safety standardsAssist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer servicePerform food preparation tasks including assembling light food items and snacksEnsure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all timesManage cash handling duties with accuracy,



including processing payments and giving correct changeRestock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations during shiftsUphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and quality in all food service activitiesQualificationsPrevious experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidateFamiliarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageousStrong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guestsBasic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing transactions accuratelyExcellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficientlyKnowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is a plusExperience in serving, food preparation, and cashiering roles will be beneficialThis position is ideal for individuals passionate about coffee, customer service, and creating memorable guest experiences.
