DATA REPORTING AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS SPECIALIST JobID: 2126Position Type: Technology/ Data Reporting & Information Systems SpecialistDate Posted: 5/26/2026Location: District 207Closing Date: 06/04/2026SUMMARYThe Data Reporting and Information Systems Specialist supports the Information System team and district administrators by responding to requests for data visualization and reporting, designs and automates data analytics, collaborates with team members on implementation of data warehouses and warehouse-based reporting systems and supports parents and the school community as required.REPORTS TO AND EVALUATED BYThe Director of Information ServicesQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEPrior experience with data visualization software such as Tableau software and systems; Experience with SQL; Maintains skilled competence through individual and staff training; Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, related field, or equivalent experience; Experience analyzing data sets and correlating disparate data sets; Experience creating reports, interfaces, or visualizations with web technologies; Experience with Student Information Systems and the education environment.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, implement, test, and support data analytics, queries, and reports, while maintaining data confidentiality and security; Identify problems within existing data views and reports, analyze the factors involved, propose and create solutions to resolve the identified problems; Create documentation of methods, data systems and visualizations; Create and manage custom formsMonitor and provide immediate response to help desk issues through direct or virtual contact with end users; Provide information by collecting, analyzing,
