The transition introduces a new name and brand identity, a new third‑party administrator, and the launch of a new five‑year strategic plan, setting the stage for an exciting new chapter of growth, connection, wellbeing, and service to members.Role SummaryReporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director, Business Development will lead the national growth strategy for Entente Education Canada’s membership and the Entente Plus Group Insurance Program. The Director will establish and lead the business development function,
including the creation and implementation of a five‑year strategic growth plan.ResponsibilitiesLead the national growth strategy for the organization’s membership and the Entente Plus Group Insurance Program.Establish and lead the business development function.Create and implement a five‑year strategic growth plan aligned with the organization’s objectives.Strengthen existing partnerships and advance new strategic opportunities across Canada.Collaborate with team members to deliver the objectives of the strategic plan 2030.QualificationsSelf‑starter with a highly strategic, relationship‑driven leadership style.Proven experience developing recent markets and growing market share.Demonstrated ability to negotiate agreements, ideally within the insurance, benefits, or financial services sector.Familiarity with group insurance, self‑insured benefit plans, or benefits administration structures (considered a strong asset).Effective communicator and natural connector, with a practical understanding of AI and strong commercial acumen.Strong collaborative approach and passion for advancing the mission of a purpose‑driven organization.Bilingualism is an asset.Compensation and BenefitsThe expected salary range for this position is$180,000 – $190,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
