Position Summary

Kids Club Child Care is looking for a qualified Responsible Adult or Early Childhood Education Assistant to work with our program. This position will be working with our School Age program.

This Full time on site position offers great prospects for career growth.

Key Responsibilities
Must be patient and attentive
Be able to follow a set schedule and implement lesson plans that are pre-planned
Plan activities such as art, baking and science, etc.
Detail oriented
Communicate effectively with both co-workers and parents
Be attentive to the needs and safety of the children while supervising them during daily activities including outdoor play, free play, baking and art.
Assist children in learning how to work together and to successfully resolve conflicts.
Have the stamina to keep up with the children and activities
Be adaptable to changes in routines




Safely monitor children during all activities and be able to react in an emergency
Cleaning (Daily cleaning duties that can include sanitizing toys and equipment, vacuuming, laundry, mopping, dishes and keeping the rooms tidy.)

Requirements
Experience: Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
Language: English (required)
Licence/Certification: Early Childhood Educator Assistant License (preferred)
Licence/Certification: Responsible Adult Certificate (preferred)
Licence/Certification: First Aid Certification (preferred)

Contract & Pay

Full time

Pay: $19.50-$20.00 per hour
