In-home caregiver – private home – AlKa… family

Terms of employment: This job is for a full time position (between 32 and 40 hours per week). Adaptable / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start is March 1, 2026.

Language requirement: French or English.

Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the First Quartile wage rate change for this field of work in Quebec.

Location: AlKa… lives in Westmount, in Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, school and parks are nearby. The city bus (#66) is easily accessible and is close by. The major intersection is The Boulevard and Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges

Duties may include:
This job is to help with the care of two children aged 13 years old, and 10 years old.
Supervision of children when parents are not at home,



and take the child to and from appointments
Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise
Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
General housework that will include doing laundry and some ironing.
Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment

Qualifications:
Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education
Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver
Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision
