Nipissing University seeks a Kindergarten Course Developer to create and facilitate online education for Part I, II, and Specialist courses. This role offers the opportunity to engage with educators and enhance teaching methodologies.
As a member of the Faculty of Education & Qualified Studies, you will develop and instruct online courses for up to 125 hours over 12 weeks. You will engage with the In-Service Education team and adhere to Nipissing's accreditation guidelines. Your expertise will help refine pedagogical approaches and course materials tailored for adult learners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop curriculum for Kindergarten courses
• Facilitate online discussions and engage with students
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
• Meet with course candidates flexibly and promptly
• Ensure adherence to university policies and training requirements
Requirements:
• Ontario College of Teachers member in valuable standing
• Master's degree or Specialist designation required
• Educational leadership and assessment experience
• Familiarity with Ontario’s education policies and programs
• Proven online facilitation and organization skills
