We are looking for a Personal Support Worker to provide for our client at Young Street and Elgin Street We are looking for 1 person for this role. You also have the opportunity to pick up more shifts.
WEEKEND 12 hrs. shift from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.
WEEKDAYS Shifts 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
You must live in North York

Job Summary
The Personal Support Worker/Caregiver is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.

Responsibilities
Meal Preparation
Light Housekeeping
Accompany clients on outings
Shopping and errands
Medication Reminders
Ambulation and transporting of clients
Provide companionship to clients
Ability to follow a care plan
Documentation/Charting

Qualifications
Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (eg. foreign-trained nurse, nursing student after one year of completing the school).
Current CPR/First Aid training
Current Police Record Check or Vulnerable Sector Screen or be willing to obtain one.
Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
Access to the internet/mobile phone.
Great support and teamwork
Dementia/Alzheimer's experience
Reliable and Experienced
