This role demands senior strategic leadership, overseeing the Sexual Violence Support & Prevention Office at SFU. Candidates should possess a Master’s degree and at least seven years of experience in anti-violence advocacy or social work. You will play an essential role in ensuring the well-being of all community members, from developing supportive policies to coordinating resources for survivors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver sexual violence prevention education - Ensure compliance with provincial legislation and policies - Lead a trauma-informed multidisciplinary team - Collaborate with institutional partners for effective service - Advocate for survivor-centered resources and support
Requirements: - Master's degree with relevant experience - Minimum of seven years in applicable fields - Proficient in anti-oppressive practices - Solid knowledge of intersectionality and trauma care - Awareness of BC's sexual violence regulations
