Join Bombardier as a Temporary Immigration Legal Counsel for 12 months, working in a hybrid model. You will prepare and manage immigration documents while ensuring compliance with legal standards.
In this role, you will contribute significantly to Bombardier’s Immigration team with a focus on Canadian and U.S. immigration processes. You will prepare visa applications, translations, and legal correspondences, while also conducting essential legal research. Your organizational skills will be vital in managing various legal files and assisting with corporate governance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare visa and work permit applications for Canada and the U.S.
• Draft translations and affidavits for legal documentation
• Respond to governmental inspections through official correspondence
• Assist with the management of immigration databases
• Conduct legal research on immigration and labor laws
Requirements:
• Law degree from a Canadian or American university
• Minimum of five years’ experience in immigration law
• Bilingual in French and English, both written and oral
• Solid document management and IT skills
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team
