GROUP EXPERIENCE DIVISIONAL MANAGER Who is a Group Experience Divisional Manager? The Group Experience Divisional Manager is responsible for implementing and managing all Group Experience programming in the club. This includes Group Fitness, Performance and Team Training programming.
What will you be doing? Oversees all aspects of the Group Fitness, Performance, and Team Training programming.
Directly supports Operational Divisional Managers and General Managers as a specialist in all areas of Group Experience management.
Works with the club General Manager and Operational Divisional Manager to establish goals, objectives, and work within budgeted hours, etc.
Presents Group Experience information to various groups. (Instructor connection events, Club-related events)
Manages and directs program development
Provides direction to Operations Management team in the development of the Group Experience schedules, class offerings according to Club and Program goals, objectives, and class budgets, and approves all final schedules and any scheduling changes
Analyzes reports and statistics, provides direction, manages necessary changes and support the Operations Management Team through changes
Instructor and Coach Recruitment and Development
Assists and approves hiring a team of Coaches and Instructors to service all Group Experience programming.
Organizes and facilitates any needed training and development for any Group Experience training and development
Manages and directs program development/evolution
Responsible for ensuring a high quality of service in all programming by providing constant feedback to Instructors and Coaches
Participate in the curation, development, and delivery of training and development for Instructors and Coaches for the department as directed
Do you have what it takes? College or University Degree
Previous success in a management role




Excellent verbal communication skills
Superior time management skills
Extensive knowledge of the Health and Fitness Industry
Ability to build relationships, plan and organize
Member focused
Ability to teach Group Fitness classes at a high level, setting the standard for all other Instructors to follow

Compensation: It is expected that the selected candidate will start at a base salary of $65,000. This position is eligible for bonuses in addition to the base salary. The annual range of expected compensation for the position is $65,000 - $87,000 determined by performance, time in the position and variable compensation earned.
