About the Role Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Remote Industrial Engineer specializing in Systems Design to join their globally distributed team. This role focuses on conceptualizing, designing, and optimizing industrial systems and processes from a distance. You will leverage your expertise in simulation, modeling, and process mapping to create effective, scalable, and cost-effective operational blueprints. Working independently, you will collaborate virtually with engineering and operations teams to translate design concepts into actionable implementation plans. Key Responsibilities Design and model complex industrial systems, including production lines, material flow, and facility layouts, using advanced software tools.
Analyze existing system performance and identify opportunities for improvement through simulation and data analysis.
Develop detailed technical specifications, process flows, and operational procedures for new and existing systems.
Collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet operational, safety, and quality requirements.




Stay abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies in industrial systems design and automation.
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders, communicating complex design concepts clearly.
Requirements Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
6+ years of experience in industrial engineering with a strong emphasis on systems design and simulation.
Expertise in process modeling and simulation software (e.g., AnyLogic, Arena, Simul8).
Proficiency in CAD software and understanding of manufacturing system integration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective virtual collaboration.
