Network Engineer · Vancouver, Canada (remote considered within Canada) The Opportunity A fast-scaling global maritime connectivity provider is hiring its first dedicated Network Engineer in Canada. Having become one of the earliest resellers of next-generation low-Earth-orbit satellite connectivity in its sector, and now moving from single-network provision into a genuine multi-orbit, full-stack managed offering, the business needs someone on the ground in North America to help build that capability from scratch.
The Impact You Will Have Test and validate new hardware and software before it reaches customers, and lead the system integration work that keeps everything interoperable
Diagnose and resolve network and system issues at the root, working across TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPN as well as Linux/Windows systems administration
Research emerging connectivity technologies and bring recommendations for continuous improvement back into the business
Collaborate across engineering, IT and operations to scope and deliver projects end to end
Provide technical support and training to internal stakeholders as the North American function grows
