Serve as the appointed actuary for all entities within the Group

Provide strategic leadership for the corporate actuarial function

Contribute to the Group's financial strength by guiding work related to risk assessment, capital management, technical provisions, and reinsurance

Ensure actuarial work complies with professional standards and regulatory requirements

Oversee analyses related to provisions, financial condition, and capital management

Guide reinsurance and retrocession strategies, as well as catastrophe risk analyses

Make strategic recommendations to senior management

Drive the evolution of actuarial practices, tools, and models

Plan and coordinate the department's activities

Engage, support, and develop a team of actuarial professionals

Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation

Act as a strategic partner in decisions related to the organization's financial condition and risk management

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science

Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) designation or a recognized equivalent

Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate actuarial work within property and casualty (P&C;) insurance

Significant experience managing professional teams

Excellent understanding of the actuarial, financial, and regulatory issues affecting the insurance industry
