About the Role Our client is looking for an experienced Legal Counsel with a solid focus on Corporate Finance to join their dynamic legal team in Kimberley . This hybrid role will involve providing expert legal guidance on a wide array of financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and financing deals. You will work closely with the finance and business development departments, ensuring all financial dealings are compliant and strategically sound. This is a significant opportunity for a finance law specialist to contribute to major corporate activities within a progressive organization in the Northern Cape .
Key Responsibilities Advise on the legal aspects of complex corporate finance transactions, including M&A;, debt financing, and equity offerings.
Draft, review, and negotiate transaction agreements, financing documents, and shareholder agreements.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, securities laws, and listing requirements.
Conduct legal due diligence for transactions and provide risk assessments.




Liaise with external counsel, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
Manage post-transaction legal requirements and corporate governance matters.
Requirements Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa with at least 7 years of experience in corporate finance law.
Proven expertise in M&A; transactions, capital markets, and financial services regulation.
Strong understanding of financial instruments and deal structuring.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and drafting skills.
Ability to manage complex projects and tight deadlines effectively.
