As a CG Layout Artist, you will play a vital role by creating shots that effectively convey stories in a 3D environment. Collaborating with talented teams, you will interpret storyboards and work under the guidance of the Layout Supervisor to ensure the creative vision aligns with production goals. An understanding of the animation pipeline and technologies is essential to thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create shot sequences that reflect storytelling principles
• Provide character blocking and camera movement
• Partner with storyboard teams to enhance cinematic layouts




• Collaborate with the Supervisor during layout meetings
• Adapt to new technologies relevant to the animation field

Requirements:
• Experience in Maya or related animation software
• Solid skills in layout, animation, and cinematography
• Excellent visual storytelling and storyboard interpretation
• Knowledge of character animation and lighting
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
