As a new addition to the Institute, the successful candidate will play a significant role in advancing the academic mission while teaching and supervising students. Teaching responsibilities can include Buddhism, sociology of religion, and spiritual care, alongside developing a robust research agenda in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
• Teach 4-6 courses annually relevant to Buddhist studies
• Supervise graduate research projects




• Contribute to the Institute’s curricular offerings
• Organize academic events and partnerships
• Conduct research and publish in reputable outlets

Requirements:
• PhD in relevant field such as Religious Studies or Buddhism
• Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching at university level
• Experience in mentorship and research supervision
• Proven scholarly publication record
• Expertise in Humanistic Buddhism
