Take on a pivotal role with Pro Social Partners and Medway Council as an Independent Reviewing Officer. This permanent, hybrid-position in Chatham focuses on child welfare and effective care plans.

In this role, you’ll ensure that looked-after children’s plans are effectively managed and delivered while holding the local authority accountable. Your position as an Independent Reviewing Officer will allow you to instill trust and transparency into children's care processes, working closely with various stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Chair reviews and ensure delivery of children's care plans
• Assess the performance of local authority in child care
• Escalate issues if children's care is delayed




• Empower children to understand their care plans
• Build positive working relationships with all stakeholders

Requirements:
• Recognised Social Work qualification and current registration
• Extensive experience in Children’s Social Care
• Chairing experience or readiness to take on the role
• Independent and challenging mindset
• Solid recording and decision-making capabilities
