About the Role Our client is actively recruiting a distinguished Senior Geneticist for their fully remote Scientific Research & Development team. This role is at the forefront of understanding human genetics and its implications for disease. You will lead research initiatives focused on identifying genetic variants associated with disease susceptibility, progression, and treatment response, utilizing state-of-the-art genomic technologies. Collaborating with a diverse, global team of scientists, you will analyze large-scale genomic datasets, interpret findings, and drive the development of novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies. This remote position offers a unique opportunity for a leading geneticist to conduct impactful research and shape the future of personalized medicine without geographical constraints.
Key Responsibilities Design and oversee studies utilizing next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies for whole-genome, exome, and targeted sequencing.
Analyze and interpret complex genomic data , including variant calling, association studies (GWAS), and population genetics.
Develop and implement computational tools and pipelines for genetic data analysis.
Collaborate with clinicians and other researchers to integrate genomic findings with phenotypic data.
Contribute to the identification of novel drug targets and biomarkers based on genetic insights.




Author scientific publications, present research findings at conferences, and mentor junior researchers.
Requirements Ph.D. in Genetics , Genomics, Molecular Biology, or a related field with a strong focus on human genetics.
Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in human genomics research .
Extensive experience with various NGS technologies and associated library preparation methods.
Proficiency in bioinformatics tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, PLINK, GATK).
Strong understanding of statistical genetics principles and experience with Genome-Wide Association Studies (GWAS).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to lead research projects in a remote workplace.
