Responsibilities include responding to billing inquiries, analyzing financial data, identifying variances, and preparing reports to support decision-making and performance improvement. The position works closely with physicians, management, and administrative teams to uphold best practices and meet Ministry and UHN standards, while maintaining accurate records, validating data, and supporting training and process improvements. and able to handle sensitive information with discretion in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.DutiesSupport day‑to‑day operations of the office to ensure efficiencyRespond to billing inquiries with empathy, discretion and accuracyPrepare, review and provide billing financial support to stakeholders and management, analyse variances, areas of concernCollaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, management and administrative staffProvide coverage and backup support to the Billing OfficePerform other related administrative duties as assignedEnsure all work aligns with UHN’s quality standards and regulatory requirementsAnalyze billing performance and results; make suggestions for improvement by setting goals and metricsTrain, educate end users in billing and ensuring on best practices for billingsEnsure billing materials are current and adhered to proper forms of controls and requirementsMaintain accurate billing documentation, process records, and digital asset informationCollaborate with internal teams and other business units to support daily operational activitiesCompile and verify accuracy of billing data to prepare for entry, and seek clarity when incomplete data is submittedReview billing data for errors and correct or flag in a timely mannerStay up‑to‑date with Ministry guidelines of best billing practicesMaintain matter records in departmental and billing system, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timelinessAssist in maintaining comprehensive documentation of matter maintenance processes, including guidelines, procedures, and best billing practices to ensure consistency and facilitate knowledge sharingPrepare billing reports, trend analysis, track billing progress by compilation of dataPerform other duties as required such as data review,
