AXIS Capital is seeking a DataOps & AI FinOps Lead with expertise to elevate cloud spending visibility and optimization. Drive cost-to-performance strategies and ensure effective management of AI and data assets within a hybrid model.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the FinOps practice across AXIS Data Platform and associated services. You will collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, and finance teams to foster cost discipline in cloud environments. By automating consumption tracking and optimizing expenditures, you will support an efficient scaling of AI operations within AXIS.

Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and manage the FinOps framework for data and AI
• Develop dashboards for clear visibility into compute consumption




• Optimize costs across Azure and Databricks
• Collaborate on embedding cost-conscious practices
• Automate consumption tracking and monitoring efforts

Requirements:
• Proven experience in cloud cost management
• Strong skills in Databricks and Azure
• Expertise in chargeback and forecasting frameworks
• Knowledge of AI/ML workload economics
• Robust analytical and communication skills
