As Bartender, you will have the perfect prospect to touch the hearts of our guests by making their special occasions truly unforgettable.ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Director, Food & Beverage, responsibilities include but are not limited to:Prepare beverage orders including a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beveragesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of all products available to the guest and keep Servers informed of the availability of bar productsEnsure the bar is kept in a clean and orderly condition at all timesUtilize computer operating system for ordering food and beverages and obtaining reports necessary for remittanceOrder stock, maintain inventory control, and ensure all beverages sold are accounted forEnsure compliance with provincial liquor regulationsSell, present and serve beverages in accordance with hotel standardsCarry out any other tasks as assigned, including running food for servers.Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiativesAdhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiativesPhysical Aspects of PositionConstant standing and walking throughout shiftFrequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbsOccasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, liftingOccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs,



and rampsQualificationsMinimum three years of experience working in food and beverage, preferably in a restaurant/bar environmentPro Serve CertificatePrevious bartending experience RequiredHotel management diploma is an assetDemonstrates knowledge and interest in wines, liquor and beerAbility to consistently stand and walk throughout shiftAptitude for repetitive physical work including but not limited to: lifting heavy objects, some exceeding 100 lbs, moving heavy carts and pallets.Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
