Renowned for its strong safety culture, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence, the company has established a solid reputation for successfully executing complex, industrial projects with precision and reliability.Position OverviewThe future General Manager will oversee and grow divisional operations, supporting the expansion of its customer base, project portfolio, and industrial solutions offering aligned with the broader capabilities of the organization. This leader will provide strong direction across operations, project delivery, business development, and safety, ensuring work is executed efficiently, securely, and to the highest quality standards. This role suits a hands‑on operational leader who thrives in scaling operations, developing teams, strengthening client partnerships, and driving continuous improvement, while supporting the organization’s long‑term commercial growth objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesPromote a strong safety culture through participative leadership and a commitment to protecting employees, contractors, the environment, and surrounding communities.Establish clear health and safety expectations, leading by example and ensuring adherence to company standards across all operations.Lead, coach, and support operational teams to ensure effective project execution, achievement of milestones, and adherence to schedules.Develop and implement strategies to identify growth opportunities and support long‑term business objectives.Build and maintain strong client partnerships,
identifying opportunities and converting them into new business.Support bid and proposal activities, including preparation, evaluation, and review of tenders and contract awards.Oversee project budgets and support effective cost control and financial project management.Develop team capability by promoting strong project management practices, including scheduling, risk mitigation, communication, and business acumen.Ensure consistency and compliance with internal processes, including training, employee development, safety, and corporate policies.Collaborate with internal functions (safety, quality, finance, and support services) to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations, while providing ongoing feedback on performance and quality.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.10+ years of progressive leadership experience in industrial operations.Proven senior leadership experience in project‑based organizations delivering complex industrial or engineered‑to‑order solutions.Demonstrated ability to scale operations, expand service offerings, and drive business growth in a technical, execution‑focused workplace.Strong experience overseeing multi‑disciplinary industrial projects, including fabrication, construction, installation, and field execution.Deep expertise in HSE leadership within high‑risk industrial settings, with a strong commitment to a zero‑harm culture.Experience driving commercial performance through client engagement, relationship development, and bid/tender and proposal support.Strong financial and operational acumen, with experience in project controls, budgeting, forecasting, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver integrated outcomes.Thank you in advance for your interest, only individuals deemed to have the skill set and experience to fit the role will be contacted.
