Become the driving force of spatial insight at the Town of Oakville as a GIS and Data Visualization Specialist. This full time role focuses on crafting insightful dashboards and enhancing geospatial solutions.

In this permanent position, you will report to the Supervisor, Spatial Solutions, and play a pivotal role in the design and delivery of enterprise-level geospatial solutions. Your expertise will support requirements gathering, testing, and adherence to data governance practices. With an emphasis on quality assurance and advanced spatial analysis, your contributions will directly influence planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design interactive dashboards using Power BI and ArcGIS
• Conduct advanced spatial analysis for data insights




• Gather user requirements and lead testing sessions
• Maintain QA/QC standards for geospatial products
• Provide training on GIS tools and visualizations

Requirements:
• Four-year degree in GIS or related field
• Minimum three years of relevant experience
• Advanced skills in ESRI ArcGIS Suite
• Proficient in Power BI dashboard creation
• Knowledge of data modeling and SQL
