GFL is looking for an experienced Journeyman Mechanic specializing in Truck and Transport or Heavy Equipment. Join our Regina Fleet Maintenance team to maintain and repair a variety of vehicles and high-pressure equipment.

This role is perfect for a dependable Mechanic with leadership experience. Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and repairing mechanical systems across Hydrovac trucks and Water trucks, as well as other heavy equipment. You’ll work within our safety standards to ensure compliance and provide accurate documentation of repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine maintenance on various mobile equipment
• Repair engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems




• Test repaired equipment for performance accuracy
• Document all repairs with transparent, legible reports
• Communicate effectively with team members

Requirements:
• Journeyman certificate in Truck and Transport or Heavy Equipment
• Class 5 Driver’s License, 1A or 3A preferred
• Proficient mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Experience with SGI Motor Vehicle Inspection Program an asset
