About the Role Our client seeks a highly skilled Senior Real Estate Attorney to manage their property law matters from their office in Kimberley . This role is crucial for overseeing all legal aspects of the company's real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, and development projects. You will provide expert legal counsel to internal teams, manage external legal advisors, and ensure compliance with property laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities Manage all legal aspects of real estate transactions , including due diligence, negotiation, and closing of acquisitions and disposals.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and retail lease agreements , ensuring favorable terms and compliance.
Advise on property development projects, zoning, land use, and regulatory approvals.
Oversee legal matters related to property financing, mortgages, and real estate-related disputes.




Ensure compliance with all South African property laws, environmental regulations, and land use planning legislation.
Liaise with external legal counsel, surveyors, and other professionals involved in property transactions.
Requirements Admitted attorney with a minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience specializing in real estate law .
Proven expertise in commercial property transactions, leasing, and development.
Strong understanding of South African property law, conveyancing, and related legislation.
Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage a high volume of complex property matters effectively.
