Serve as the ‘voice’ of CCS and communicate the organization’s work in ways that resonate with Canadians

Use financial industry knowledge to create written collateral

Write blog articles, media pitches, press releases, brochures, presentations, video scripts, and social media posts

Increase awareness, consumer interaction, and knowledge

Support the overall marketing and awareness strategy

Work collaboratively with members of the Marketing & Community Engagement team

Requirements

Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field is required, ideally in a related field such as business or communications

Three to five years of experience in either the personal finance or credit industry

Two to three years of experience in communications, writing, or journalism

Previous experience working in a media relations capacity is an asset

Excellent oral and exceptional written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail

Well-organized and self-motivated

Ability to maintain confidentiality

High proficiency in computer office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher

Good understanding of and interest in multiple social media platforms, including X, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and TikTok





Successful candidates must be eligible to work in Canada

Fluency in French is an asset
