The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo is seeking skilled Community Peace Officers to strengthen its enforcement team. You will play a key role in investigating and enforcing municipal regulations while working closely with the RCMP to reduce crime. With responsibilities ranging from animal control to environmental enforcement, your ability to maintain professionalism and handle complex situations will be vital.

Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce municipal bylaws and provincial statutes
• Initiate investigations and finalize complaints
• Issue violation tickets and lay charges as needed




• Participate in community events & patrols
• Mentor junior colleagues and assist with training

Requirements:
• High School Diploma/GED with 4 years law enforcement experience
• Community Peace Officer appointment through Alberta Solicitor General
• Emergency First Aid Certificate with AED
• Valid Class 5 Operator's License
• Ability to maintain RCMP security clearance
