Engage in groundbreaking oncology research as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Calgary. This full-time role is pivotal for managing clinical studies and participant engagement.
Situated at the Colon Cancer Screening Centre (CCSC), this fixed-term position offers a unique prospect in clinical research. You will oversee participant recruitment, informed consent, and data management while ensuring compliance with ethical standards. Successful candidates will have a strong foundation in clinical trials and experience in health-related research.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and conduct clinical research projects per study protocols
• Recruit participants from diverse clinics and care pathways
• Conduct consent discussions with participants
• Manage data entry and participant scheduling
• Ensure confidentiality and ethical standards are maintained
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant health field is required
• Preferred 5 years of clinical research experience
• Certification in clinical research (e.g., CCRP) is beneficial
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and REDCap
• Knowledge of GCP and ethical research practices
