Join Stonehenge Therapeutic Community as a Peer Supporter, dedicated to empowering those overcoming housing challenges. In this full time role, you will provide peer support that enhances tenant resilience and promotes independent living.

Working within the Permanent Supportive Housing Program, you will leverage your lived experience to establish trust and connection with tenants facing significant mental health and substance use challenges. Your role is critical in guiding individuals towards achieving their personal goals and fostering community ties, contributing to their overall success.

Key Responsibilities:



• Provide peer support aligned with best practices • Assist tenants in navigating housing and community resources • Co-facilitate educational and support group sessions • Participate in program development and evaluation efforts • Maintain accurate documentation of tenant interactions

Requirements: • Required lived experience of substance use disorder and recovery • Minimum of one year in community-based support services • Relevant post-secondary education an asset • Valid G Driver’s License and ability to transport participants • Certification in First Aid/CPR and Food Handlers preferred
