Join the City of Vancouver, recognized for its commitment to sustainability and equity. In this role, you'll assess and rehabilitate streets while promoting initiatives such as the Transportation 2040 Plan and Zero Waste 2040 Plan. You will collaborate closely with the Senior Pavement Engineer and other technical staff, contributing to best practices in asset management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the sidewalk condition assessment program • Develop asset management strategies to extend infrastructure life • Evaluate pavement and sidewalk conditions for reports • Perform QC inspections and support construction standards • Collaborate with industry leaders on best practices
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with Professional designation • Minimum four years in pavement and asset management • Knowledge of GIS software and engineering principles • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
