What You Will Do
Complete the new claim intake process through telephone contact with members
Conduct claim investigations via appropriate communication channels
Assist with the facilitation of Automobile claims including tow arrangements, appraisal assignments, third party insurers, rental authorizations as well as with confirmation of available coverage and deductible details and confirmed liability assessments
Review and analyze losses to ensure files meet the guideline criteria and determine proper kind of loss
Document claim data accurately to support all data reporting requirements
Maintain adequate reserves based on exposure and authority level
Salary range is not inclusive of total compensation. The expected salary range for this position will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. Candidates with salary expectations outside of the range are encouraged to apply
Who You Are
Post-secondary education completion
2-3 years customer service experience
1-5 years prior claims handling experience preferred
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Excellent organizational skills
Superior customer service and interpersonal skills
